AET Group Inc. Ranks No. 399 on the 2020 Growth List

October 15, 2020

Kitchener, ON– Canadian Business today ranked AET Group Inc. No. 399 on the 32nd annual Growth List, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies. Produced by Canada’s premier business and current affairs media brands, the Growth List ranks Canadian businesses on five-year revenue growth. Growth List winners are profiled in a special print issue of Canadian Business published with Maclean’s magazine and online at CanadianBusiness.com and GrowthList.ca.

AET Group made the 2020 Growth List with five-year revenue growth of 74%.  This is the sixth year AET Group has earned a place on the Growth List. “The companies on the 2020 Growth List are really exceptional. Their stories are a masterclass in how to survive when the economy throws a curveball. Despite turbulence, the 2020 Growth List companies showed resilience, spirit and, most importantly, empathy and strong leadership,” says Susan Grimbly, Growth List Editor. “As we celebrate over 30 years of the Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies program, it’s encouraging to see that the heart of Canada’s entrepreneurial community beats strong, even in tough times.”

“Being recognized on the Growth List as one of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies validates our team’s efforts to continue to service our clients during these ever-changing, difficult economic times”, says Managing Director and CEO, Scott Freiburger.  “Our success reflects the continued commitments and dedication of our employees, including a service trumps sales philosophy.”  “Being a part of this nationally respected list of Companies is a testament to the strength and resilience of AET’s team, which has resulted in strong steady growth over the years.”

AET is focused on growth both organically and through acquisitions.  The company recently completed an acquisition of 2cg Inc. – a London-based consultancy firm focused on waste management and circular economy planning, with a specialization in food and organic waste management.
