Building Energy Assessment

Building Energy audits were performed on 214 building units to assist the County of Lambton in identifying and developing energy investment initiatives for its family residential units located in Sarnia Lambton.  The energy audits were performed in two phases.  Phase 1 included:

• an evaluation of heating equipment;
• interior basement wall insulation;
• attic insulation;
• window and door deficiencies;
• toilet recommendations;
• listing of federal and provincial available grants;
• development of all paper work and requests for grant monies on behalf of the County of Lambton including a submittal for any Ontario rebates

Phase 2 involved follow-up energy audits to verify upgrades to apply for all available incentives, grants and rebates.
