Stephanie Whitney is a Senior Project Engineer with AET Group (AET). Stephanie holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental/Chemical Engineering and a Master of Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo (UW). Stephanie is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Environment and Resource Studies at UW. She is a registered P.Eng. with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and has over 10 years of work experience, primarily in the consulting field. As a Project Engineer with engineering consulting firms, Stephanie developed and executed all aspects of environmental compliance and risk management projects related to federal and provincial air, water, and waste regulations, including management of client relationships, budget, liaison with contractors and government contacts, and scheduling of deliverables for a wide variety of clients. As a Senior Consultant within the Sustainability & Climate Change group of a “Big Four” accounting firm, Stephanie provided a broad range of assurance and advisory services such as greenhouse gas (GHG) verification, sustainability report verification, assessment of environmental liabilities, and sustainability strategy development to multiple clients in major industries including (but not limited to) consumer business, manufacturing, mining, telecommunications and media, and oil and gas.
