Rachel Kirkby

Project Support Administrator

Rachel is the Project Support Administrator with AET Group Inc. She holds a certificate in Office Administration from Conestoga College as well as an Honours History degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to entering the environmental consulting field she worked for a software company in Downtown Kitchener’s booming technology sector.

Rachel provides project support on the Home Flood Protection Program as Customer Service Representative, acting as liaison between AET staff, external partners, and the public. Her strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail keep projects running smoothly. In addition to her administrative skills, her strong professionalism and pleasant personality enable her to communicate information effectively and build relationships with customers based on confidence and trust.

Rachel is dedicated to reducing her carbon footprint by taking public transit, buying local, and eating a largely vegetarian diet. She is always looking for new ways to reduce her footprint on the environment and live a more sustainable life. In her spare time Rachel enjoys playing the piano, trying new recipes, and watching Classic Hollywood movies from the 1930s and 40s.
