GHG Reduction Planning and Target-Setting (Including SBTI)
Following the establishment of a GHG inventory, organizations should embark upon efforts to reduce their GHG emissions through the definition of reduction targets and goals (optimally Science-Based Targets).
AET leads organizations through a tested process that results in GHG reduction targets and goals that are aggressive yet realistic and feasible. Our process includes identification of potential GHG reduction opportunities, ranking of opportunities against multiple criteria, prioritization of opportunities, and development of an implementation strategy. This process results in an amount of GHG emission reductions that are likely to occur over a given timeframe, thus ensuring GHG reduction goals and targets can be defined with confidence.
